A quilt for e.

3 Comments In the Craft Room

Here’s an older project from my crafting archives.  This was only my second–ahem, completed–quilt and took only 9 months to plan, assemble and quilt!  I chose my favorite color combination–pink and coral with small sunny bursts of yellow.

I love interesting quilt backs as much as I love the letter “e”.

Here’s the recipient, the third child of good friends  (and, incidentally the sister of our first Charlotte model as seen on the Finch pattern cover).

Here’s the more of the frontside:

Happy quilting!

You did a fab job choosing colors/prints that work well together! I still have a quilt that I started oh, 11 years ago that I need to finish. One of these days!;)

Hey, that looks familiar! Somehow you managed to match the quilt perfectly to Emerson’s personality; it’s perfect for her! I’m sure she’ll love it as she grows up, and in the meantime I can personally attest to its coziness, since I *may* have borrowed it for a few minutes of Super Bowl watching last night….

Erin, the quilt is beautiful… I’m not sure how I missed this post. It does look like the quilt suits Emerson perfectly from the photos. I can’t wait to see the finished project in person. Btw I love the “e”!
