Our street has one of the longest continuous running block parties in the city (54th Annual this year!), celebrated each year on the 4th of July. It was an extremely hot and sticky day, but no lack of fun for the kids--Flower the Clown, the Euclid Beach Rocket Car, the local fire dept., and there were lots of water blasters on hand for the kids to stay wet and cool.
Earlier in the week, we held a pre-block party Red, White and Blue Tie Dye Party. I ordered kits from Dharma Trading and all the moms crowded together in a corner of the yard for a creative moment. It was a lot of fun and the shirts turned out really crisp and vibrant!
Hope you enjoyed a lovely 4th wherever you are!
PS We have a fun project to share via Imagine Gnats' Shorts on the Line tomorrow, so be sure to check that out!
